My Go-To Instagram Travel Accounts For Planning A Trip + Stunning Photography

Traveling is one of my favorite things to do. It doesn’t matter if it’s a quick day trip to an unknown city or a 14 hour flight to an exotic country; I love doing both. I’ve been fortunate enough to visit Italy, Ireland, and Mexico, but I have more places on my bucket list that I can’t wait to see. With the pandemic under control and having spent the previous year locked indoors, I’ve been thinking a lot about where I want to vacation next. My dream is to travel the world while experiencing each country’s culture, cuisine, traditions, fashion, and daily way of life.Read More →

How to Plan The Ideal Road Trip This Summer

Taking a road trip is more than just a drive, it’s an entire experience that’s filled with memories and exploring hidden areas on the way to your destination. You can blast your favorite music, take in the beautiful scenery, and stop at numerous roadside attractions. To me, the drive itself is just as much fun as vacationing at my destination. This summer, my boyfriend and I will drive to Joshua Tree. Although our trip is short when compared to some of the other adventures I’ve embarked on, I’m still using the same tools to plan for this voyage. Whether I’m driving a few hours awayRead More →

With spring and summer on the horizon, taking a day trip from Los Angeles to one of these destinations is a fun way to vacation without going too far. There are so many must-see spots you can travel to that are just a short distance away. I’ve chosen five of my go-to destinations and highlighted my favorite restaurants, things to do, and attractions at each. For each trip, the starting point is Downtown Los Angeles, departing at 7AM. What I Loved in August, 2020

A collection of things I loved in August, from beauty products and fashion to entertainment and everything in between. I kept seeing these gorgeous candles all over Instagram and knew that one would look perfect in my bedroom. I headed to Otherland’s website and fell in love with their Beach Club collection: Matchpoint (cut grass, tennis balls + cucumber), Freshwater Pearl (sea crystal, salt water + crushed shells) and Stone Fruit (beach plum, brown sugar + peach skin). The hardest part was deciding on a scent, but I ended up choosing Freshwater Pearl since it fit best with being at the beach. The 8oz candleRead More →

A Look Inside My Beach Tote

In the middle of July I flew from Los Angeles to the East Coast because my parents were buying a beach house at the Connecticut shoreline. Due to Covid-19, their closing date kept getting pushed back making the wait seem like forever. Fast forward a month later and we’ve finally moved in. In between shopping for my bedroom and planning my dad’s birthday party, I’ve been stocking up on necessities that I’ll be using while I spend the rest of the summer at the beach. Here are 15 items that I’m keeping inside my beach tote.  Picnic Tote bag | Ban.do, $34.95 From the brightRead More →

The Best of San Diego in Three Days or Less: Pacific Beach Pier

This has been, by far, the oddest summer I’ve ever lived through. As the world is still in a pandemic, international and even cross-country vacation plans are at a halt for most Americans. However, taking a day trip or weekend trip somewhere close by is the perfect alternative. The great thing about living in California is that we’re close to so many beautiful cities and coastal towns. San Diego, my hometown, is the last county after Orange County and just north of the U.S./Mexico border. It’s about a two-hour drive from downtown Los Angeles, making it the ideal day trip or weekend escape. It’s breathtakinglyRead More →

What I Loved in July 2020

A collection of things I loved in July, from beauty products and fashion to entertainment and everything in between. A couple of months ago I tried these plant-based Dream Pops and instantly became hooked. They come in flavors like vanilla matcha (my favorite), chocolate, berry, coconut latte, and mango rosemary. Not only are they refreshing on a scorching summer day, but each pop is only 100 calories and they’re vegan, gluten-free, and soy-free. Last summer I fell in love with Eyeko Beach vegan waterproof mascara for a few reasons. First, it keeps my lashes curled. Second, it doesn’t weigh them down and third, it doesn’tRead More →

Everything I’m Eyeing For My Summer at The Shore

Last year my family and I restarted the tradition of spending time at the Connecticut shore. This was a place that I grew up going to each summer along with generations of family members before me (you can read about my childhood memories and why it’s so special here). Prior to last year, since I moved to Los Angeles, I had only been back there once in 2013. After our last trip we realized how much we missed the beach, so my parents recently purchased a beach house on the water. This summer, I’ll be heading to Westbrook and spending the rest of the seasonRead More →
