As the holiday season approaches, it seems like there are a number of new Christmas tree themes to choose from. I’ve always been someone who’s gone all out, starting with finding a picture perfect tree and spending hours decorating it while sipping hot cocoa. Growing up, mom would put up three in our Massachusetts home—a traditional tree in the family room; an over-the-top gold tree in the living room; and an Eloise inspired pink one in my bedroom. In fact, it’s a ritual that still takes place today. I’ve been searching Pinterest for Christmas tree themes for my DTLA apartment and I’ve come up with 30 that are exquisitely decorated (and hard to narrow down). From simplistic to extravagant, to chic and eccentric. No matter your style or budget, you can be sure to find one that fits your personality.
